      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze, verify, coordinate, and reconcile budgets for the Magnet Schools Assistance Programs (MSAP)
      - Collaborate with various stakeholders to track budgets, encumbrances, and invoices
      - Initiate, prepare, and process all budget-related transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
      - Review contracts related to MSAP to ensure adherence to regulations
      - Prepare and analyze monthly budget reports for department administrators and external agencies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's degree in business, accounting, or a related field
      - Minimum of five years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
      - Considerable knowledge of accounting practices, budget procedures, and contract management
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, as well as Google Apps
      - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in business or accounting from a regionally accredited institution
      - Familiarity with financial systems and processes specific to the employer
      - Experience with Oracle-based accounting systems
