      Description

      DUTIES:
      • Leads and is responsible for all aspects of a Property Management program within a diverse organization under contract to the U.S. Army.
      • Essential duties include, but are not limited to: full life-cycle management of all Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP); conducting inventories, inspections, and audits of GFP and CAP; ensuring the proper hand receipting and accountability of GFP and CAP; and conducting property administration to include acquisition, receiving, identification, movement, storage, consumption, and disposition reporting and management.
      • The Property Manager shall be capable of independently analyzing and resolving difficult issues and problems involving property allocation, supply processes, work methods, or day-to-day operational procedures.
      • Responsible for all aspects of property book execution associated with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other contract deliverables.
      • Ensures all property transactions are in compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations and policies.
      • Ensures property transfers and accountability are in compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures.
      • All other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications

      QUALIFICATIONS:

      Required Education: Bachelors Degree

      Required Experience: The Property Manager must possess, at a minimum, experience and knowledge on a broad range of property and supply management policies or at least 3 years of civilian property experience; knowledge of specialized methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of supply programs and/or operations. The Property Manager shall be proficient with AR 735-5, Supply Bulletin 700-20; familiar with the IUID process; and possess a working knowledge of the FAR, DFAR and any other applicable regulations.

      Desired Experience: Army Brigade level or higher Property Book Officer (PBO) experience.

      Additional Requirements: Must be able to travel unaccompanied throughout the continental US and foreign countries; applicant selected will be subject to and must pass a government security investigation at the Secret level – must possess and maintain security clearance; individual must submit to and pass initial drug screening and will be subject to random drug screening; individual must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, day and night; individual must be able to work irregular schedules consistent with organizational requirements; individual must have a valid state driver’s license; individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and have excellent oral and written communications skills: required to walk and stand for long periods; must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
