      DHI Communities is a multifamily development division of D.R. Horton, Inc.

      DHI Communities is currently looking for a Multifamily-Development Coordinator in the Operations Department. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting the Development Teams in all aspects of multifamily development.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Assists development team in the overall coordination of multi-family development and construction

      • Coordinates communication between local development team and DHI Communities (DHIC) Corporate regarding project status and key milestones

      • Assists development team in obtaining required project approvals and permits

      • Organizes preparation of project memorandums and reports submitted to DHIC Corporate for both project approvals and financing

      • Communicate with project consultants for timely delivery of project plans, reports, and deliverables

      • Aid in coordinating project signage between development team, project architect, interior design consultant, landscape architect, and property management

      • Consult with interior design consultants for order, delivery and install of clubhouse, leasing center, and model unit furniture, fixtures, and equipment

      • Coordinate project addressing and new road naming approvals between development team, local municipality and property management

      • Maintain and monitor project schedules, including master critical dates calendar with key milestones

      • Assists in building/unit turnover with property management company

      • Perform asset management functions and maintain communication between development team, DHIC Corporate, and property management company

      • Aids in communication with homebuilding divisions regarding joint development and construction projects

      • Maintain and coordinate project team meeting schedules

      • Coordinates maintenance of development project files

      • Assists in compilation of market information from online resources, property management resources, and information obtained by development team

      • Ensure all consultant invoices are processed quickly and efficiently

      • Conducts all business in a professional an ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

      Education and/or Experience

      • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
      • One to three years related experience and/or training
      • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
      • Proficiency with MS Office and email

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Working knowledge and prior experience in JD Edwards
      • Excel in intercommunications and interactions
      • Demonstrate a systematic approach in carrying out assignments
