What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, record, edit, and produce instructional videos, audio lectures, and screencasts
- Create digital graphics, motion graphics, and animations for educational materials
- Collaborate with instructional designers and faculty to ensure multimedia aligns with course objectives
- Manage and maintain multimedia equipment while providing technical expertise in relevant software
- Serve as moderator or technical host for virtual meetings, ensuring participant engagement and accessibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Digital Media, Instructional Technology, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of multimedia experience in production, including video/audio recording and editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Storyline, Rise, and other multimedia applications
- Experience applying UX design principles to LMS platforms such as Canvas
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG compliance for media and communications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated expertise in creating professional graphics and visuals using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Ability to efficiently manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience moderating virtual events and utilizing engagement tools in platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams
