What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement effective account strategies while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams
- Lead national and regional sales programs to increase product selection and placement in retail channels
- Analyze market trends and competitor products to create innovative sales strategies
- Manage customer training initiatives to enhance product knowledge and optimize sales performance
- Prepare and deliver competitive pricing quotes and negotiate contract terms
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) required; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of professional sales or marketing experience, preferably with national accounts in the home improvement industry
- Proven track record of managing large, complex national accounts
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems; ability to generate and interpret reports
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience managing national accounts in eCommerce or Pro channels within the home improvement industry
- Strong negotiation, mathematical, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, able to work independently and collaboratively
- Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of electrical systems
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including occasional weekends
