L ead the delivery of tennis infrastructure projects nationwide

Lead and suppo rt the facility development of National and State Facility priorities, including the support of major event venue requirements .
Support the growth of all forms of the game through sustainable infrastructure .
Embrace strategic alignment and planning with Local Government and Member Associations using an evidence based approach to planning and prioritisation for tennis, padel, pickleball and pop tennis.
S upport Member Associations in the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure development projects including racquet hubs and complementary disciplines projects .
Liaise with industry suppliers and contractors to ensure up to date knowledge of tennis best practice in project delivery and management.
Research and support innovative design, delivery and materials to support the implementation of relevant Member Association Plans .
Actively seek partnerships and innovative solutions to national infrastructure issues .
Tertiary qualifications in S ports A dministration/ M anagement/ B usiness /Engineering (desired) .
Experience within the facility development and /or local government sector .
Project Management or project delivery skills .
Understanding of current facility development issues nationally .
High level interpersonal skills to effectively develop and maintain partnerships, networks and stakeholder relationships .
Exceptional communication skills, on the phone, in writing and face to face for effective message delivery .
You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check .

About the role
The National Facility Development Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of infrastructure strategies, projects and technical services across the national Participation team, supporting Tennis’ Member Associations to deliver the physical environments required to enable the national Game On strategy. Reporting to the Director of Places to Play, this role will identify , develop and deliver priority tennis infrastructure (of all disciplines) and lead the delivery of national strategies to support Member Associations, Local Government and other stakeholders, with the aim of optimising tennis facility development and participation nationally .
