What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead on-site implementation of complex automation systems for clinical diagnostics
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support, both on-site and remotely, to field service engineers
- Exercise judgment to identify and solve unique and complex problems with laboratory automation systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality execution of implementation processes
- Mentor and train internal and external customers on technical skills and knowledge
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant industry or military experience; or Associate's Degree with 5+ years of relevant industry or military experience
- Experience in complex electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Willingness to travel domestically at least 80% of the time, often on short notice
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in network/LIS communication and troubleshooting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control and regulatory requirements
- Proven ability to facilitate effective communication and collaboration with customers
- Previous experience with customer-facing roles in technical support or field service
