What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail accounts to drive sales success
- Implement effective sales strategies to enhance product placement and visibility within retail outlets
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate staff and consumers
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and optimize product offerings
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and promotions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5 years of experience in consumer packaged goods retail, preferably in the food channel
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field preferred
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the year
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with processes for developing private label and proprietary programs
- Experience in completing RFPs and executing bidding processes
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market research
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to influence key stakeholders
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
