What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently plan and execute functional, compatibility, performance, and regression testing across PC and console platforms
- Evaluate game builds from external development partners and provide structured feedback aligned with publishing requirements
- Document, track, and validate defects using industry-standard tools such as Jira
- Act as a QA point of contact between publishing, development partners, and external QA vendors
- Validate patches, updates, and live content as part of live operations support
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of professional QA experience within the games industry
- Strong command of QA methodologies, defect lifecycles, and industry best practices
- Experience with at least one professional bug-tracking system
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with cross-functional and external stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Hands-on experience with console certification standards such as TRC, XR, NAC, or NOPS
- Experience working with external development studios, external QA vendors, or publishing organizations
