What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Make outbound validation calls to providers to ensure accurate demographic details for each practice location
- Contact members regarding preventive health activities and provide support for inquiries
- Maintain documentation in databases regarding special outreach projects and provider interactions
- Assist provider offices with credentialing, recredentialing, claims, and data maintenance issues
- Act as a liaison between providers, members, and outside community resources
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or telephone sales, preferably in a Managed Care environment
- Experience with provider practices, physicians, or office managers in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in personal computers and supporting software in a Windows-based environment, including MS Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills

- Familiarity with the health insurance industry
- Ability to resolve problems effectively
