What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, gathering requirements and identifying opportunities
- Partner with Account Managers to understand customer pain points and conduct network architectural reviews
- Architect, design, and propose Data Center & Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures
- Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups and network deployments
- Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering based on customer insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience
- BS/CS/CE technical degree required
- Strong understanding of cloud networking principles and network automation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Expert-level experience with routing and switching, including L2/L3 protocols
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales SE, or Network Consulting Engineer
- Network Industry Certification (e.g., CCIE (R&S), JNCIE)
- Recent experience in leaf-spine architecture design
- Experience building network automation using Python and Ansible
- Expert knowledge in Ethernet, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and related technologies
