What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate and manage patient scheduling and appointments
- Assist healthcare providers with patient inquiries and documentation
- Ensure accurate data entry into electronic health records (EHR)
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff regarding care plans
- Support the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) software
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
- Experience with patient care coordination
- Familiarity with medical billing and coding practices
- Certification in healthcare management or administration
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or other languages
