What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct and oversee critical inspections and provide accurate results for gas or steam turbine generators
- Perform onsite life extensions, repairs, and inspection-related services at customer sites
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the interface between the customer and the employer
- Support activities such as proposal support, equipment maintenance, and field training
- Make informed decisions and resolve issues based on technical knowledge and established procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of experience in the power industry
- Current or recent Level II or III certification in UT, MT, ET & PT methods
- Certifiable to ASNT TC-1A standards in UT, MT, ET & PT methods
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport for international travel
- Fluent in written and spoken English with the ability to travel up to 80% globally
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience using digital data acquisition systems and NDT analysis software tools
- Power generation industry experience in nondestructive testing
- Experience in a customer service organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
