      Position Summary

      As a future CNA with Hoosier Village, you will care for residents under direction of nursing and medical staff. The shifts are 12 hours, and we require coverage every other weekend. You will care for residents by performing the following duties:

      Duties and Responsibilities

      • Answer signal lights to determine residents' needs
      • Help residents bathe, dress, and undress
      • Turn and reposition bedfast residents
      • Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates
      • Serve and collect food trays and feed residents that require help
      • Transport residents by wheelchair or by assisting them to walk
      • Clean, sterilize, store, prepare, and issue dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies
      • Perform other needed tasks like running errands, directing visitors, and answering the telephone
      • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

      Qualifications

      • Passion for senior care
      • Customer service skills
      • Preferred: experience with senior living
