      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide clinical expertise to patients and their families
      - Serve as a resource for healthcare providers
      - Participate in research and teaching programs
      - Work independently under the guidance of attending physicians, chief resident, and department nurse manager
      - Conduct comprehensive assessments and management of neurological conditions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Master's Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing for Nurse Practitioners
      - Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges for Nurse Practitioners
      - National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or licensure as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Washington with national certification from NCCPA for Physician Assistants
      - ACLS certification for both Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
      - Eligibility for hospital staff appointments under Medical Staff By-Laws for hospital-based positions

      - Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in neurology or related fields
      - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
