What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct video visits for primary care patients presenting with acute complaints
- Assist with after-hours calls and escalations from RNs
- Complete a minimum of 36 patient visits per 12-hour shift
- Manage in-basket communications effectively
- Provide care for patients of all ages in various Mercy Primary Care regions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Missouri license required to start, with additional licenses for Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, and Oklahoma needed
- One to three years of previous Advanced Practitioner experience in a Primary Care or Urgent setting
- Availability for weekend and holiday rotations
- Ability to work both onsite and remotely, with a minimum of 90 days in-office training
- Strong commitment to quality patient care and teamwork
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with the Epic EMR system
- Previous experience in a hybrid work environment
- Additional certifications in primary care or urgent care
- Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
