What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct video visits for primary care patients presenting with acute complaints
- Assist with after-hours calls for primary care and manage escalations from RNs
- Oversee in-basket management for patient communications
- Schedule and manage patient visits in 15-minute slots, averaging 4 visits per hour
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Valid Missouri license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 1-3 years of previous Advanced Practitioner experience in a Primary Care or Urgent Care setting
- Licenses to treat in Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, and Oklahoma must be obtained to care for patients in all Mercy regions
- Ability to work onsite at the Mercy Virtual Care Center in Chesterfield, MO for a minimum of 90 days before transitioning to remote work
- Flexibility to participate in weekend and holiday rotations
