What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Uncover root causes by asking thoughtful, intuitive questions over video or secure chat to understand underlying issues behind illness or medical conditions
- Deliver accurate diagnoses using clinical expertise and remote diagnostic tools in a virtual setting
- Guide care decisions by efficiently ordering, interpreting, and following up on lab tests to personalize each patient’s care plan
- Electronically write prescriptions and clearly explain their proper usage, administration, and side effects to ensure patient understanding
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and the extended care team to deliver seamless, coordinated care
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Active, unrestricted license as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP); Nurse Practitioners (NPs) must hold a compact nursing license
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience providing care in primary, family, urgent, or emergency care
- Strong communication and digital literacy skills to connect with patients and team members in a virtual environment
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to provide care effectively
- Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Texas
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a virtual care setting
- Additional certifications in relevant specialties
- Familiarity with digital healthcare platforms and telemedicine tools
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster patient relationships
