      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage outpatient care in collaboration with a physician, addressing acute and chronic issues related to oncology
      - Provide anticipatory guidance, education, and emotional support to patients and their families
      - Actively participate in an interdisciplinary care team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
      - Utilize critical thinking and research principles to improve quality of care within the institute and community
      - Engage in ongoing learning opportunities to further knowledge in support of the institute's mission and values

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Authorization to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
      - Current certification from a nationally recognized accrediting body for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants
      - Minimum of 1 year of oncology nursing or Nurse Practitioner experience, or corresponding professional experience for Physician Assistants
      - A Master's degree in Nursing or successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Studies program
      - Maintenance of current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Licenses

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Certification in Oncology Nursing (e.g., OCN, AOCN, CPON, BMTCN, CPHON) for Nurse Practitioners
      - Oncology Nurse Practitioner experience or advanced experience as a Physician Assistant
      - Additional relevant certifications or specialized training in oncology care
