What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Physicians with direct patient care
- Support patients in activities of daily living, hygiene, and treatments
- Measure and record vital signs and assist in minor medical procedures
- Perform clerical functions related to patient records and maintain day-to-day operations
- Contribute to a 24/7 unit operation, ensuring efficient health care delivery
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certification in CPR by the American Heart Association and training in the use of an AED
- Ability to perform CPR and/or first aid to prevent loss of life until appropriate care arrives
- Experience in making accurate observations and assessing patient status
- Ability to initiate action in emergency situations
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Wisconsin
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
- Demonstrated ability in performing CPR and First Aid in emergency situations
