What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration)
- Provide basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practical nurses (LPNs)
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
- Active CNA certification (state-specific requirement)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus
