      • BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo’s preferred healthcare provider. At BSA, the focus is to provide quality healthcare in Christian love, service and dignity.

      Responsibilities

      • The clinical risk manager serves as a liaison between all departments and risk management to assist in the prevention and investigation of risk related events.
      • The clinical risk manager is a registered nurse who has extensive nursing background and excellent communication skills (both oral and written).

      Qualifications

      Job Requirements:

      • High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
      • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
      • Current Texas RN License
      • Basic Life Support Certification

      Preferred Job Requirements:

      • Minimum of five (5) years experience in direct patient care.

      • Quality Improvement and/or Healthcare Risk Management.

      • Successful completion of an approved 2 or 4 year nursing degree program.

      • Basic computer skills to include Power Point, Microsoft Word, and Excel
