      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct compliance reviews of participating institutions to assess adherence to federal and state regulations
      - Evaluate financial management systems and documentation for fiscal accountability
      - Provide technical assistance and training on financial topics related to food service operations
      - Investigate complaints and recommend corrective actions or sanctions as needed
      - Monitor final claims for reimbursement and ensure proper liquidation of program funds

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in foods and nutrition, institutional management, or a related area
      - Minimum of three years of experience in a related field
      - Strong analytical skills and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
      - Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory guidance
      - Experience in preparing written reports and documentation to support adverse actions

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated experience conducting compliance reviews for federally funded programs
      - Proven experience developing and delivering technical training on financial management topics
      - Experience analyzing financial documents for cost allowability and program compliance
      - Familiarity with nonprofit food service operations
      - Experience interpreting and applying federal and state regulations for program accountability
