      The OHS Consultant works collaboratively with the OHS Medical Director, Sr. Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner, and the OHS Manager to help develop, implement and oversee the delivery systems for the Occupational Health Service and the Sturdy Health Employee Health Program. He/ she functions within the policies, practice guidelines, and procedures of Sturdy Health in addition to the Department of Public Health, DNV, CDC, OSHA and other regulatory agencies standards. Promotes a safe and healthful work environment and assists healthcare personnel in maintaining optimum mental and physical health in compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Workers’ Compensation requirements.

      Education/Training:

      • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administration, leadership, healthcare administration or public health

      Licenses/Certification:

      • BLS required
      • Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist (C.O.H.C) Certification
      • Breathalyzer Certification
      • Drug Screen Collection certified

      Required Qualifications and Skills:

      • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of OSHA/ Occupational Health Regulations preferred.
      • Computer proficiency
      • Excellent interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with all organizational levels
      • Demonstrated organizational skills
      • Ability to work accurately
      • Excellent Customer Service Skills
      • Fluent to read, write and communicate in English
      • Ability to maintain confidential information

      Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

      • Prior experience working in an OHS environment
      • Knowledge of Systoc Documentation System

      Essential Job Functions:

      • Assist SLM in running reports
      • Support SLM in planning vaccine clinics
      • Troubleshoot unexpected or missed training details
