What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Facilitate customers' technical transition to the employer's support services
- Manage service cases to add and remove devices from the monitoring system
- Ensure effective monitoring of customers' managed equipment
- Provide CCNA level route switch configuration and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with internal and external IT resources to maintain client satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-5 years of experience in a networking/security engineering related position
- Experience with building VPN tunnels and working with Firewalls
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users effectively
- Must have a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as CCNA Routing/Switching or CCNP Enterprise
- Experience with monitoring SolarWinds Orion
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and virtual server environments, especially VMWare
- Basic understanding of customer change management and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
