What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians and key thought leaders in the oncology field
- Utilize customer relationship management systems to document call records and account planning
- Deliver high levels of expertise and customer service to healthcare professionals
- Collaborate effectively with internal resources to support sales efforts
- Communicate scientific information about oncology products to healthcare stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university; focus in business, life science, or clinical degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical, medical device, or medical sales experience, with at least 1 year in oncology
- Proven track record of quantifiable sales accomplishments
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify territory opportunities
- Proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA) applications
- Established relationships within the oncology network
- Strong knowledge of VEEVA systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise business judgment
