What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide academic support to students through coaching, tutoring, or mentoring
- Assist students in developing academic skills relevant to the online classroom
- Offer guidance on study skills such as reading, note-taking, organization, and time management
- Deliver academic technology support to enhance student learning experiences
- Foster strong connections with students through effective interpersonal communication
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Electrical Systems Engineering Technology from a regionally accredited institution
- 1-2 years of prior work experience within the past 5 years
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, including approachability and empathy
- Demonstrated knowledge of current practices and emerging trends in distance learning
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting distance learning students in higher education or similar settings
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hands-on learning environments and student-centric methodologies
