      Position Type: Contract/Affiliate Resource Pool Duration: Project-based engagements (1-3 months typical) Location: Remote/Hybrid (travel to client sites as needed)

      We are seeking a highly skilled OpenText Intelligent Capture (formerly Captiva) Specialist to join our elite resource pool as an of digital transformation specialists designing and implementing cutting-edge OpenText Captiva solutions. The ideal candidate will drive enterprise capture initiatives that solve complex business problems and transform how organizations manage critical content workflows.

      Key Responsibilities

      Core Requirements:
      • Captiva Platform Mastery: 3+ years architecting and deploying OpenText Captiva/Intelligent Capture solutions in mission-critical environments
      • D2 Integration: Proven experience integrating Captiva with OpenText D2 workflows and forms, including seamless handoffs and metadata mapping
      • Advanced Recognition: OCR/ICR implementation, template design, and recognition optimization for complex document processing scenarios
      • Intelligent Export Engine (IEE): Expert-level configuration of export processes, data transformation, and seamless system integrations
      • ScanPlus: High-volume scanning operations and batch processing for enterprise-scale deployments
      • C#.NET Development: Enterprise-level expertise developing custom Captiva modules, integrations, and workflow extensions that deliver measurable business value

      Technical Competencies:
      • Enterprise deployments processing 1000+ documents daily with high uptime requirements
      • ECM ecosystem integration (e.g., SharePoint, Documentum D2, FileNet) and content lifecycle management
      • Database integration (SQL Server, Oracle) with complex metadata and routing logic
      • Workflow design and exception handling for business-critical processes
      • Performance tuning and optimization of production systems

      What You'll Do:
      • Design and configure sophisticated capture workflows, recognition templates, and export rules
      • Perform test-driven development and develop technical documentation
      • Troubleshoot complex processing challenges and optimize system performance
      • Mentor client IT teams and transfer knowledge for long-term success
      • Support high-stakes go-live activities and post-implementation optimization


      Must-Have Qualifications

      Ideal Candidate:
      • Canadian, US citizen, or Visa holder with right to work in USA. We are not able to provide sponsorship for this role.
      • Technical leader, comfortable driving results in accordance with guidelines given by a Client Engagement Manager
      • Proven problem-solver for complex document processing challenges in regulated industries
      • Well versed in complete life cycle development processes that include translation of requirements into functional technical specifications, design, development, testing and implementation using Agile methodologies
      • Consulting experience with enterprise clients and formal project methodologies
      • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills


      Experience & Education

      Work Experience
      • 3+ years consulting experience working with multiple customers on project based engagements

      Education
      • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
