What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as program/project portfolio manager, providing administrative process control
- Provide management reports and information to leadership on a routine basis
- Coordinate assigned functions with managers/supervisors to ensure task assignments and status reporting are executed to standard
- Manage and maintain project schedules for multiple projects using Microsoft Project
- Create, edit, format, and store project documentation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field plus one full academic year of graduate education in the specialized field; or a bachelor's degree in a specialized field plus 3 years of applicable experience; or a bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of 5 years of specialized experience
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in MS Project
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage tasks assigned by multiple managers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in project management within the federal government sector
- Familiarity with life cycle cost analyses and economic evaluations of programs
- Strong analytical skills to identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Background in maintaining project financial data using customer cost/budget systems
