What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the data migration workstream, including planning, execution, testing, and cutover coordination
- Develop and maintain the Data Migration Plan, including strategies and validation protocols
- Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from legacy systems
- Manage data quality checks, including audits and discrepancy resolution
- Provide weekly and monthly progress reports, including validation logs and data quality metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with 5+ years in data migration leadership roles
- Proven experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) EHR implementations, including Millennium and RevElate platforms
- Expertise in ETL tools, FHIR/HL7 standards, and data warehouse architecture
- Strong understanding of clinical data domains, including allergies and medications
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with large EHR implementations
- Certifications in PMP, HIMSS, or relevant technical domains
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality tools
- Experience with interoperability strategies and data syndication models
