      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Compile daily work lists from alert/edit systems and resolve alerts/edits for various patient types
      - Enter detailed notes to update records when alerts/edits cannot be resolved
      - Monitor aging accounts and prioritize resolutions to minimize billing delays
      - Communicate coding revisions and collaborate with billing and revenue integrity teams
      - Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations while maintaining current knowledge of coding practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 1-year acute care outpatient coding experience required
      - 3 years of healthcare experience strongly preferred
      - Certification in CPC, RHIA, RHIT, and/or CCS required
      - Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT/HCPCS coding and reimbursement
      - Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management (HIM) or Health Information Technology (HIT) preferred
      - Experience with same-day surgery and emergency department coding
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
