- Strategic Outreach Development: Develop and execute an outreach strategy to enhance brand visibility, student recruitment, and community engagement. Innovate and implement strategies to establish new pathways into higher education.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with schools, colleges, and educational partners to advocate for Arden University's programs and attract potential students. Ensure tailored projects, systems, and communications align with outreach goals.
- Continuous Monitoring and Adaptation: Stay informed about developments in the pre-entry educational landscape, outreach innovation, technology, and legislative changes. Lead proactive measures to respond effectively, aligning outreach efforts with dynamic changes.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of outreach coordinators and representatives, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
- Representation and Networking: Identify and attend relevant events, conferences, and exhibitions to represent Arden University. Network with potential students and partners.
- Collaborative Campaign Development: Work closely with Marketing and Admissions Teams to create targeted campaigns and materials for outreach activities.
- Educational Presentations and Workshops: Coordinate and deliver engaging presentations and workshops to schools, colleges, and community organisations, showcasing the benefits and opportunities offered by Arden University.
- Data-Driven Evaluation: Monitor and analyse outreach activities, evaluating their effectiveness and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Supporting Recruitment Strategy: Support and contribute to the implementation of a robust UK student recruitment and outreach strategy.
- Target Achievement: Ensure all departmental and organizational targets are met by aligning outreach strategies with the university's goals and objectives.
- Compliance and Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safeguarding guidelines in all outreach activities, maintaining a strong knowledge of external and university policies.
- Innovative Program Delivery: Oversee the delivery and development of a high-quality and innovative physical and digital outreach program to maximise attainment, enrolments, and successful transitions.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in outreach or related roles, preferably in the higher education sector.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop and execute effective outreach plans.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of current recruitment and access challenges facing the UK Higher Education sector.
- Demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative and be a team player.
- Experience of managing a team of people.
- Adaptable, flexible, and resourceful in work.
- Proven ability to motivate and relate successfully to prospective students.
- Willingness to travel to various locations in greater London and the wider UK.
- An Interest in/relevant experience working in the Higher Education sector is advantageous.
