Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for providing administrative and technical support for outreach initiatives, regional projects, and continuing education activities for substance use-related programming. Assists in planning, coordinating, and promoting programs that strengthen community engagement and organizational visibility. Supports the design, preparation, and distribution of outreach materials in alignment with branding and communication standards. Collaborates with internal departments and external partners to ensure efficient execution of outreach and educational events.
Essential Functions
• Assists in coordinating logistics for outreach programs, community events, and continuing education activities.
• Prepares, edits, and distributes outreach and promotional materials following established brand guidelines.
• Maintains databases, contact lists, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility of outreach information.
• Supports scheduling, communication, and coordination between internal teams and community partners.
• Assists with the setup, registration, and delivery of educational or promotional events.
• Tracks participation data and compiles reports to measure program effectiveness and engagement.
• Provides administrative support including document preparation, correspondence, and recordkeeping.
• Collaborates with graphic design and marketing teams to ensure consistent presentation of materials and messages.
• Responds to inquiries regarding outreach programs and services in a timely and professional manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
Bachelor's degree in public relations, public health, or a related field
Experience Requirement
0-2 years of experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.

Physical Demands
This position requires intermittent sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing, data entry, or documentation); and intermittent standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds. The role also includes occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50 pounds; occasional standing or walking with objects up to 25 pounds; and some exposure to risk or injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials. There is also occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, temperature extremes, loud noises, cuts/punctures, bloodborne or airborne pathogens, and combative or violent people. Intermittent job-related travel is also required.
