What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contact current and prospective school districts to promote and sell the full portfolio of educational resources
- Attend and participate in exhibits, webinars, trade shows, and sales meetings
- Monitor and respond to communication via voicemail and email in a timely manner
- Liaise with sales support groups and maintain communication to address inquiries
- Manage territory effectively using CRM tools and maintain detailed call plans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years of outside sales experience
- Must reside within the territory with 60-75% travel required
- 3-5 years of related sales experience
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with complex sales situations and operating within a district sales model
- Familiarity with educational grants, programs, and initiatives
