What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish and expand relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory
- Understand and assess customer pump and fluid handling needs to provide effective solutions and services
- Retain sales records, report on pipeline activity, and generate relevant sales and market reports
- Prepare cost estimates and solution designs based on customer needs
- Collaborate with manufacturer's technical resources to advance product offerings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in retaining customers and building repeat sales in a territory
- Background in selling to chemical and industrial environments
- Knowledge of pumps, seals, mechanical mixers, and fluid handling products
- Mechanically inclined with a technical/flow control industry background preferred
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirement

- Experience in the technical/flow control industry
- Participation in professional societies and networks
- Proven organizational and strategic skills in territory management
- Ability to provide technical information and training to customers' staff
- Familiarity with preparing marketing strategies and sales target goals
