What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Grow your territory by acquiring new business and developing relationships within existing accounts
- Consult with engineers and maintenance personnel to assess their needs
- Manage a sales territory effectively, focusing on both new and repeat business
- Build solid relationships at all levels of customer organizations
- Utilize mechanical aptitude and computer skills in sales processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Outside industrial sales experience within the industrial marketplace
- Knowledge of valves, pumps, instrumentation, and flow control products
- Proven success in developing new business and managing a sales territory
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers
- Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills; familiarity with Profit 21 is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree requirement
