What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer calls and text/chat messages on the crisis line to assist individuals and families in mental health crises
- Conduct assessments of presenting problems and psychosocial stressors
- Complete risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of callers
- Collaborate with Crisis Response Services across eight districts in the state
- Maintain effective monitoring and progress toward performance measures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree required
- At least one year of crisis or mental health-related experience preferred
- Ability to earn the MHRT-CSP certification within 30 days of employment
- Solid oral communication skills for clear and friendly interaction with callers
- Flexibility in schedule is required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment
- Ability to manage complex tasks effectively
- Familiarity with DSM-V information
- Willingness to learn and use documentation software proficiently while engaging with clients
