What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide crisis intervention and respond to crisis calls, in-person counseling, and shelter intakes
- Maintain vigilant supervision of children and assist with their hygiene, diet, and appointments
- Complete necessary forms and documentation for data management
- Ensure safety standards and infection control policies are adhered to within the shelter
- Assist in coordinating and facilitating shelter activities and maintain cleanliness

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school education required
- Valid driver's license preferred
- References that demonstrate interest in working with individuals in crisis
- Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and office software
- Ability to physically restrain a child when necessary, as instructed by the Agency

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with children and families in crisis situations
- Previous training in crisis intervention or related fields
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Familiarity with safety standards and policies in a shelter environment
