What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Obtain, analyze, and investigate medical, financial, and contractual information to make effective and timely claim decisions
- Communicate with employers, employees, and medical providers via various channels
- Provide updates to customers regarding claim processes and ensure understanding of the company's position
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding items to ensure compliance with regulations and quality guidelines
- Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to support clients effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4+ years of claims or customer service experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to actively listen while collecting information
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in computer skills and typing
