- Interface, as directed, with the practitioners with whom GHG contracts.
- Facilitate the practitioner onboarding process by collecting applications for open positions and other required documentation (licenses, diplomas, registrations, etc.), from practitioners.
- Assist with the completion and submission of practitioner credentialing applications, as directed.
- Obtain Contracts with Payors for practitioners and handle any credentialing that the payor may require to become contracted.
- Interface, as directed with the clinical and administrative staff working for a subcontracted provider organization/facility as directed.
- Responsible for CAQH, PECOS, NPPES Maintenance and completing payor demographic update requests.
- Monitor, track and notify practitioners of expiring licenses and registrations as well as assist with renewals of these documents.
- Previous experience in healthcare insurance verification and provide credentialing
- Understanding of in-network and out-of-network benefits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrates patience, flexibility, and cooperative attitude
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with other office staff
- Conscientious and detail- oriented
- Successful completion of a drug screen prior to employment is part of our background process, which includes medical and recreational marijuana.
