  What you’ll do in this role:

  • Interface, as directed, with the practitioners with whom GHG contracts.
  • Facilitate the practitioner onboarding process by collecting applications for open positions and other required documentation (licenses, diplomas, registrations, etc.), from practitioners.
  • Assist with the completion and submission of practitioner credentialing applications, as directed.
  • Obtain Contracts with Payors for practitioners and handle any credentialing that the payor may require to become contracted.
  • Interface, as directed with the clinical and administrative staff working for a subcontracted provider organization/facility as directed.
  • Responsible for CAQH, PECOS, NPPES Maintenance and completing payor demographic update requests.
  • Monitor, track and notify practitioners of expiring licenses and registrations as well as assist with renewals of these documents.

  We are looking for self-motivated Palliative Credentialing Specialist with:

  • Previous experience in healthcare insurance verification and provide credentialing
  • Understanding of in-network and out-of-network benefits
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrates patience, flexibility, and cooperative attitude
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with other office staff
  • Conscientious and detail- oriented
