      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform journey-level paralegal work in support of tort cases for Assistant Attorneys General
      - Draft, proofread, format, and serve formal and informal discovery requests
      - Supervise and mentor entry-level legal support staff, managing workload and staff assignments
      - Conduct onboarding and performance evaluations for new and existing staff
      - Maintain knowledge of agency and divisional policies and procedures

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Combination of four years of experience through paralegal certification, a two-year paralegal degree, or paraprofessional experience in support of an attorney
      - At least one year of experience as a Paralegal 1 in Washington State Service
      - Experience preparing legal pleadings and correspondence, managing case documents, and tracking discovery documents
      - Strong communication and leadership skills
      - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Litigation experience is preferred
      - Previous experience supervising or training legal support staff
