What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create a learning environment that facilitates student acquisition of knowledge and skills
- Align course activities with student learning outcomes and employ active learning strategies
- Deliver instruction in support of stated learning outcomes and conduct assessments of student learning
- Hold at least one office hour per week for each assigned course
- Communicate with students in a timely and respectful manner
What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD from an accredited Law School or Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
- Minimum of two years of related occupational experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in an electronic format
- Knowledge of legal principles in immigration law and litigation
- Sufficient technology skills to work productively in an organization that utilizes significant information and instructional technology resources
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Teaching experience at the college level
- Familiarity with CANVAS or other learning management systems
- Experience with proven teaching strategies that promote student success
