Job Duties:
1. Ensure effectiveness of Physical Education and Recreation facility and greenspace operations.
2. Maintain a conflict free schedule of facility rooms and greenspace fields.
3. Oversee daily operations of the Physical Education & Recreation Center
4. Coordinate daily duties of the Physical Education & Recreation Part-Time Staff
5. Manage daily logs of events and happening within the Physical Education & Recreation Center
6. Ensure all facility policies are adhered to by all users of the Physical Education & Recreation Center.Work Hours: Part-Time, 20 -25 hours/week within hours of operation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis.
1. Bachelors degree in related field of physical education or 4 years in physical education, recreation and/or wellness operations or facility with 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
2. Hold a valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain. CPR/First Aid/AED classes are offered to staff at no expense.
3. Physical effort required, including but not limited to: lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking. A pre-employment post offer physical exam will be required of the selected candidate.
4. Able to attend in house meetings and training sessions.
5. Possess effective decision-making skills.
6. Ability to communicate and work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
7. Excellent customer service skills.
8. Basic knowledge of all cardiovascular studio and strength center operations, including proper use, care and maintenance of equipment.Required Documents:
