What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist with funeral services, both in the chapel and at off-site locations
- Help with first calls and removals at the location of death
- Be available on-call within a reasonable response time
- Drive various vehicles as needed, such as family limo, coach, and vans
- Greet and assist customers and guests unrelated to a family being served
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional training provided by the funeral home
- Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to different situations
- Compassionate and understanding towards individuals who are grieving
- Valid driver's license
