What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to member/customer requests for emergency road service in a call center environment
- Gather information regarding service requirements and communicate with contractors for timely assistance
- Provide superior customer service while responding to a high volume of emergency service requests
- Analyze member accounts to identify additional products and services that could benefit the member
- Document all relevant details in the database and verify the completion status of calls
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a professional setting
- Ability to accurately input information using a PC and navigate automated processing systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and effective listening abilities
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses required for selling and/or servicing products
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- College-level coursework in Business, Marketing, Geography, or related fields
- Experience in a call center environment and promoting products and services
- Familiarity with remote work settings and customer service best practices
- Knowledge of North American geographical relationships and road condition reporting terminology
- Experience with cross-selling and up-selling products based on customer needs
