What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct data analysis on brain white matter in relation to neuro degeneration
- Validate research findings with a larger cohort for a new NIH grant application
- Successfully complete required clearances, including background checks
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the department
- Engage in specific diversity initiatives to promote inclusive excellence
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must successfully complete Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check
- Must hold a Pennsylvania Child Abuse History clearance
- Must pass Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Criminal Background Check
- Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in neurosurgery research or related field
- Familiarity with data analysis software and techniques
- Knowledge of NIH grant application process
- Understanding of brain white matter and neuro degeneration research
- Experience in conducting research with a diverse cohort
