      Nokia Fixed Networks is seeking a Partner Success Engineer (PSE) to join the FN Enterprise Team, focused on driving and supporting key partners (Super Partners) in the Optical LAN market. This role will focus on partners who meet the following criteria:

      • Lead-gen providers: Actively generate new business independently from Nokia
      • Autonomous: Act independently in business development, sales, and pre-sales, focusing on deploying Nokia's blueprinted solutions
      • Strong in-house expertise: Possess strong in-house expertise on Optical LAN

      The PSE will play a crucial role in supporting these key partners to achieve success in the Optical LAN market

      Qualifications

      This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in pre-sales, market development, or business development activities

      Key Requirements:

      • Experience in pre-sales with technical expertise, or in market development or business development activities Experience as a Senior Sales Engineer is a clear asset
      • Experience with indirect business and the Nokia partner ecosystem (a plus)
      • Knowledge of PON technology
      • Strong team player with proven ability to work within a global team
      • Strong communication and influencing skills
      • Ability to understand partner requirements, preferably with knowledge of the LAN market and solutions Knowledge of the FN Product/Solution Portfolio (a plus)
      • Proven Business Acumen
      • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and concise manner
      • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
      • Self-driven, proactive, and decisive
      • Ability to motivate teams and achieve results

      This role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills to effectively support and develop key partners

      Responsibilities

      This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for working directly with partners and creating new joint business opportunities

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Partner Development and Support: Develop partners' technical and sales competencies to increase pipeline and order intake
      • Technical Advocacy: Provide technical and commercial guidance to partners, keeping them informed about product knowledge, market differentiators, and best practices
      • Partner Management: Assess and review partner performance, driving improvements and defining learning/certification tracks
      • Feedback Loop: Provide direct feedback to the Business Unit for roadmap and product support, and provide market feedback to steer product development

  • About the company

      Nokia’s transition to a primary focus on telecommunications began in the 1990s. The first GSM call was made in 1991 using Nokia equipment. Rapid success in the mobile phone sector allowed Nokia to become by 1998, the best-selling mobile phone brand in the world. In 2003 Nokia introduced the first camera phone. In 2011, to address increasing competition from iOS and Android operating systems, Nokia entered into a strategic partnership with Microsoft. The 2015 acquisition of Franco-American telecommunications equipment provider Alcatel-Lucent greatly broadened the scope of Nokia’s portfolio and customer base. Additional acquisitions have positioned Nokia to be an industry leader in the transition to 5G wireless technology by offering the only end-to-end 5G network portfolio available on a global basis. In 2016 the Nokia brand re-entered the mobile handset market through a licensing agreement with HMD Global, allowing them to offer phones under the Nokia brand.
