What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Register all new patients in the computer system by obtaining demographics, insurance information, and source of referral
- Handle all scheduling requests according to physician and authorization protocols
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures set forth by the employer
- Confirm and update all information from prior visits as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate
- 1 or more years of experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience in registration, scheduling, or healthcare benefits is helpful
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task while handling high call volumes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
- Working knowledge of a Windows-based computer environment and typing skills
