What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule and authorize coverage for scheduled services
- Communicate with physicians and clinical staff as necessary
- Pre-register patients for services, including verification of coverage and authorizations
- Assist patients in completing charitable applications at medical centers
- Maintain confidentiality and quality of service in stressful environments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare financial environment
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in PC skills within a Windows environment, including Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and follow through on projects independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
