What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist patients with direct care under the supervision of an RN and team members
- Provide grooming, oral hygiene, comfort measures, and mobility assistance to patients
- Document patient care tasks, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff regarding patient requests and care
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, including transportation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma, GED, or formal education equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the healthcare field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Successful completion of UAMS PCT and PSC courses
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a behavioral health setting
- Additional certifications related to patient care or support
- Familiarity with medical records processing
